In a busy life full of work, family and social obligations, personal time is often the first thing to be sacrificed. Many people even feel that taking deliberate space for themselves is somehow selfish.

The opposite is true. People who regularly set aside time for themselves tend to be more balanced, more patient and more capable, both professionally and personally, over the long run.

How to create more intentional time for yourself:

Block time for yourself in your calendar the same way you would an important meeting.

Start small: ten to fifteen minutes is often enough to make a difference.

Use that time consciously, without multitasking and without guilt.

Communicate your need for that time clearly to family and colleagues.

Time for yourself is the foundation that allows you to genuinely show up for others. If you would like professional support with this, I would be glad to welcome you for a first session. Book directly at www.greenliving-coaching.ch.
